Want to learn more about essential oils? Here’s your chance

Curious about Essential Oils? Want to learn what they’re all about?

Here’s your chance.

On Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 12-4 pm, come to the Fletcher Street Depot for an afternoon of learning about essential oils, oil-infused products, and the benefits of ditching the toxins in your home and living a chemical free life.

The event is hosted by Jennie Handrich and Jenn Stillwagon, who “are passionate about living a chemical free lifestyle and love to educate others so that they too can live a life of wellness.”

According to Handrich,” the average person applies 300 chemicals to their body every single day… and most are from four things: soap, makeup, shampoo, and hair-care.” Similarly in the home, the biggest pollutants are fabric softener, dryer sheets, air freshener plug-ins, and candles. From dish soap to processed food, she adds, “you are literally poisoning your family everyday with the stuff that you can’t pronounce in your home.”

Essential oils are a better way for self and home care. “They are totally chemical free, steam-distilled or cold-pressed from pure plants. There’s nothing in them but that one oil, whether it be tangerine, peppermint, or lemon,” Handrich explains. “There are over a million uses for essential oils: cleaning supplies, personal care products like toothpaste and deodorant, in the diffuser, or oil-infused nutritional supplements.”

Event participants will learn about those uses at April 7th’s Young Living Live Your Passion Spring Rally. Both members and non-members are invited. There will be new member enrollment specials, product demonstrations, a Thieves table, and any information you may need about essential oils and their use,  including for kids and pets.

Tickets are $15, and the first 20 tickets purchased will receive a free swag bag.
